Shafts
End Shafts are used at the idle end for
support. Drive shafts are used at the drive end for support and
have keyways for the turning of the screws. Screw sections are
joined together by use of coupling shafts. Standard material of
construction for all types of shafts is C-1045, but are available
in stainless steels and different grades of mild steel. All
shafts shown on these pages are of standard 2-bolt design. Click
